Dr. Craig Mortensen grew up in orange county and attended school at Valencia High School. Afterward he attended college and Fullerton community college where he recieved a scholarship on Organic Chemistry from Chapman university and another scholarship from FCC for his academic success. After fullerton college Dr. Craig transfered to Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and began his studies to become a doctor. Over the course of the next 3 1/2 years Dr. Craig received 1 scholarship from LACC due to accademic excellence and 3 scholarships from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners for outstanding excellence in academics. Dr. Craig Mortensen graduated as one of the youngest doctors of chiropractic from LACC and was his Class Valedictorian. Dr. Craig has been practicing with his father (Dr. Christopher Mortensen) since 2001.

Dr. Craig is Married to his high school sweet heart and they have two beautiful children that keep their hands full all the time.
Dr. Craig and his family live a very active and healthy lifestyle (he practices what he preaches). He enjoys spending time with his family and pretty much any outdoor activity. Some of his favorite activities include surfing, mountain biking, mixed martial arts, hiking, backpacking, and recently a little rock climbing.

In addition to being a Doctor of Chiropractic Dr. Craig is also licensed with the state of California as an I.D.E. and a Q.M.E. The I.D.E. is an industrial disability Evaluator and a Q.M.E. is a Qualified Medical Examiner. These special certifications mean that Dr. Craig is specially trained in providing care to injured workers as well as writing reports when there is a dispute between an injured worker and the employer.

Dr. Craig Mortensen and his son enjoy the view from the cliffs in San Onofre while they eat a healthy organic lunch prepared by Dr. Craigs' Wife Kristen (who is a doula in Orange County).

Dr. Craig Mortensen is a Doctor of Chiropractic at Placentia Chiropractic/ Best OC Chiropractic & Wellness Center. Dr. Craig has been in pratice for over 10 year and practices with his father Dr. Christopher H. Mortensen. Their office provides Chiropractic, massage therapy, nutritional counseling, and rehabilitation for injuries from sports, slips and fall, lifting, and car accidents. They primarily treat the resident in the surrounding area including the residents of Placentia, Yorba Linda, Fullerton, Anaheim and Brea. .
