The Activator Method Chiropractic Technique is a gentle, low-force approach to chiropractic care. It is commonly used for elderly patients or those suffering from osteopenia and osteoporosis. The technique has been used safely on patients of all ages since the late 1960s, bringing relief to people with a variety of health concerns.

Incorporating the latest advances in orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic examinations, this unique system of administering spinal adjustments using research-based analysis and the Activator Adjusting Instrument can help restore spinal balance safely and comfortably.

Because of its effectiveness and gentle nature, the Activator Method has grown to become the world’s most widely-used instrument chiropractic technique.

The Activator method is generally used for patients that for some reason or another do not like the popping sound with the diversified technique or for patients that are too elderly or have osteoporosis to do a regular adjustment on. The activator itself is a small adjusting tool that almost works like a miniature jack hammer or pogo stick to gently push the misaligned bones back into place. There is absolutely no pain or soreness with this type of technique.

The only draw back to using this technique is that since it is so gentle it often takes longer to see results since it is not as aggressive as the diversified technique.
