Dr. Scott Adam
Dr. Adam believes that health is not a subscription, but a lifestyle. This philosophy leads Dr. Adam to focus on four patient-care objectives:
- To listen and understand each patient's symptoms;
- To diagnose the root cause of ailments;
- To manage and relieve pain; and
- To provide valuable and practical wellness education that patients can incorporate into their lifestyles to improve health and well-being.
Dr. Adam's patient-centered approach to treatment ensures that patients receive the individual care, compassion and respect they deserve, and sets him apart from many medical providers. Dr. Adam truly loves what he does and it is apparent in the kind of chiropractic he practices.
Dr. Adam maintains a comprehensive chiropractic practice. Dr. Adam has treated thousands of patients, ranging from professional athletes to injured workers. He is also a certified Webster technique practitioner, which allows him to safely and effectively treat pregnant women.
As an avid lover of sports and former long-distance runner and basketball player, Dr. Adam has completed post-graduate training to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner.
Dr. Adam will undergo additional training in August 2016 to become certified in Active Release Technique ("A.R.T."). By adding the latest techniques Dr. Adam will be able to increase his treatment protocols to ensure better outcomes for his patients.
Dr. Adam was born and raised in Southern California. Following undergraduate studies at Arizona State University and a temporary relocation to Iowa while his wife was in law school ("Go Hawkeys"), Dr. Adam returned to Southern California to attend graduate school.
